Vintage Advertising Display Supermarket 7UP 1960s Girl Folk Art Chalkware Pepsi.
This incredible find is from an estate in Central New York. I was told by the original owner that this came out of a local supermarket in the 1960’s and was used as a display to sell 7UP products. It has no official license markings on it other than the plastic cup. I believe it was made by one of the employees who worked at that supermarket. The head is made of a composite/ chalkware type of material. The body is made out of a wood/ particle board material and the clothing of actual period fabric.
There is some damage to the area of the ankles that have been reinforced with cardboard pieces (see pics).
Measures 30” long, 48” wide and 5.5” tall.
A truly unique and one of a kind piece of advertising folk art.
