Kroger's Grocery Shopping Cart Please Don't Remove Cart From Premises Sign
The person I purchased this from was cleaning out an estate and everything in the area it was stored in was from the 70s. I haven't found a makers mark or date so I'm not positive who made it or when.
It seems like the timeframe might be right but it's hard to tell without any markings or finding another example.
It's fairly large and measures 36" wide by 28" tall.  it is steel and weighs in at just over 5 pounds.
This shows signs of age such as nicks, dings, scratches, scuffs and rust. It is double sided and they are both in about the same condition. It is not porcelain.
I think it has plenty of character and I just can't find another one like it in the research that I've done.
