Vintage 1 Cent Penny Bingo Ball Gum Trade Stimulator

Up for auction is a vintage 1 cent Bingo Ball Gum trade stimulator from back in the early 40's. This machine is in decent shape and works well. I purchased it many years ago in really rough condition. The cabinet had cracks and warpage that I tried to repair as much as possible but there is some damage still present that I couldn't correct. The rear door is a reproduction that I made and the lock is a replacement. It was re-painted in original colors and that still looks good. The front name plate looks great and the gum ball dispenser is present and works perfectly each time.
Now, here is the biggest difference in this machine vs others like it. When I got this, there were no internal workings and I had to remake them from pictures I was able to get off the internet.  There are not many of these machines out there, so that was somewhat difficult. When I looked at how it appeared the machine was supposed to work, I assumed the balls were shot by pulling up on the shooter and letting it go similar to a pinball machine. In reality, I think you are supposed to hit it, but I couldn't see how to make that work. In the current design, it works very well and I think is less damaging to the machine if people would hit the shooter too hard and break it. You can see my design in the pictures. Other than that, it's a nice little machine.

Unfortunately, I live the farthest from the east coast that anyone could and so the further east a person lives from me, the more the USPS or FedEx will charge. And shipping charges are very expensive these days.
