    From the manufacturer:
    The Shandon Cytospin 2 is a cell preparation system which uses centrifugal force to deposit cells onto a microscopic slide. The operating speed and time parameters are 200-2000 rpm and 1-99 minutes. Speed, time and acceleration rates are programmable with the latter available in a choice of either high, medium, or low, dependant on sample type used. Also incorporates a nine program selection capability with an indefinite retention time.

    the lid release button is NOT working.
    The centrifuge is in fair cosmetic condition with minor scratches, wear and discoloration from age and prior use. Rotor is NOT included.
