Up for bids is a unique 1 1/2"x 4" empty front striker matchbook from the 1930-40s Era Pasadena, California GOP Carl Hinshaw for Congress campaign-Hinshaw was Congressman from 1939 to 1956 but for the 11th district from 1939 to 1943-Colorful red & black cover reads: "Hinshaw-Re-Elect Carl Hinshaw to Congress 11th District" on front and reads: "Re-elect Carl Hinshaw Congress 11th District" on back-Inside pictures the Congressman and reads: "Re-elect Carl Hinshaw To Congress" and the striker is intact -A nice vintage item ready for display.
